Our surveys and discussions indicate that many women in business still feel uncomfortable about – or even dread – any form of public speaking, be it at a meeting, a networking event or making a presentation to a group, large or small. Yet, it is very important that you are able to do so effectively, as keeping quiet - or describing your ideas or activities badly – will lead to missed opportunities which you will later regret.

With this in mind, we delighted that we have been able to book Barbara Moynihan for our April event.

TEDx speaker coach and TEDx Speaker, Barbara knows and fully understands the challenges which are associated with public speaking. At the beginning of her very successful career, Barbara discovered that addressing a group or a room full of people is not as easy as it may appear. Aware of the issues involved, Barbara went on to spend 9 years working with an international training company, delivering High Impact Presentation Skills in Ireland and in several European countries

In 2010 she established her own business - “On Your Feet” - in 2010 and has since then helped many individuals and groups to develop their public speaking and presentation skills.

By the way, Barbara has also won the “Network Dublin Self Employed Business Woman of the Year” award so her views and advice on a range of subjects will be very interesting to hear.

This will be a fast moving, enjoyable and interactive event and we hope, as always, relevant to your interests and needs.

Afterwards, we shall sojourn to Samantha Hawe’s lovely Cotton Tail Café in The Diamond Centre for chats, networking and delicious refreshments
